The simple hip-carry (knots at rear) - when the baby can hold his head firmly by itself

Every carrier usually has his favourite side, but we recommend changing the carrying side every so often to protect your hips and to prevent overloading to one side.

The hip-carry position is suitable for short distances, at home and at parties if the baby is getting tired and fretful. If they are then sitting in the sling, they feel as if they are at the centre of things and often go to sleep within a couple of minutes!

You can recognise the hip-carry position when it is correctly tied when you do not have to compensate for the baby's weight.
